Don't plan on buying anything AT THE DOOR on New Year's..especially if it's after 4am.. u think u'll be the only one that will wanna keep on partying.. last year..ever place was over 100 bux to get in.. and that's not including u might have to grease the doorguy... presales (hardtickets) are the way to go

Well, it's confirmed...Giant's after party is from 2pm (1/1) - 2am (1/2). Looks like we'll be looking for something to do after Giant Maximus...6AM or so. Besides private parties, is this the only option around the 6AM timeframe?

There is actually two sets of tickets for Avalon. One is $60 which is good for entrance after 9pm, called Avaland NYE - The Greatest Show on Earth. Lineup is:
DONALD GLAUDE
RICHARD VISSION
EDDIE HALLIWELL
DAVID GARCIA

FAARSHEED
SEAN O'HARA
+ MORE TBD

The other is $50 which is good after 2AM, called After Hour Power. Lineup is:
Main Room: DJ Eddie Halliwel and DJ Richard Vission
Ibiza Terrace: DJ Ruff and DJ Reza
Time: 2AM - 10AM

Too pricey for me...

There will also be an afterparty at Joseph's in Hollywood (Behind Avalon)

Josephs
1775 N Ivar Ave
Hollywood 90028
10am-8pm

This place is really cool - the new home of EM Sundays (previously at the Hollywood Canteen). Should be a great time - I'll be spinning a set, not sure who else is slotted but I'll keep you all updated, I'm excited!

It'll be a long ass weekend though. I work a double on friday (server at this cute little Italian resturant), work brunch Sautrday morning, Saturday night is Lawler @ Vanguard, Sunday morning I work brunch, then Sunday afternoon into Monday I'll be at Giant, then I spin Monday at Joseph's - hopefully I'm still sane by the time this is all over!

Hey guys,

I decided that I will do an after hours.

January 1, 2007

6AM to noon

Or should I go 6 AM to 2 AM?

Vegas is making me like Progressive House so we'll do one room trance, one room house and if there is a 3rd I'll consider Hip Hop or drumb and bass.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Ahh man. Vegas vibe...

I'll do a full review in a lil bit w/ video and all. Promoters take full advantage of Vegas partying w/ a Function One sound system!

About the after hours, I'll announce in a couple days. Problem is being permitted to open @ 6 AM, but I have good taste in venues. And if I get a whatever venue, we'll make sure lighting and sound is superb!

A good party is about the people, not the venue right?

Yeah I know haha but I was just wonderin if it's happenin in Vegas or here in LA somewhere?
