is this ?
incase you cant see it- its a minesweeper looking icon that changes into one of those windows alert things and a bubble pops up from time time to time telling me i have a virus. when i click on it it takes me to an anti virus site. i ran my antivirus and my spyware checker and they both turned up nothing. I looked in my programs incase i installed something by mistake and nothing out of the ordinary there. i checked my start up programs and everything's fine, I restarted and nothing happened.... im stumped. any suggestions? |

Stuff that your anti-virus/spyware software can't pick up. The same thing happened to me a while back when I got massively infected for some reason. Nothing would pick it up, but there was plenty of it sitting right in front of me.
Can't remember how I got rid of it, though. |

This happened to me recently. Bring up your task manager to see what programs shouldn't be running. Determine where they are (most likely in your Program files) then reboot into safe mode, delete those files and then restart Windows normally.

just checked and theyre definetly in program files. only problem now is I dont know what should/shouldnt be running in task manager :/
any chance you could help me out there? |
