I've always wondered how this was made and the different types of it went tru to get infront of me. Doesnt seem like a healthy process. Bwhahaa.

Well, you have to remember that just because a chemical is used in the process doesn't mean it ends up in the end product. If I'm making an extract of salvia I'll use acetone, but there is no trace of acetone in the finished product.
but yea, pretty interesting :p |

| hydrocloric acid and no gloves? Those guys are either really good at what they do, or really afraid. I had no idea that cocaine went through such a refining process. Maybe it's all that gasoline that makes it so expensive :stongue: |

i've heard the original version is "cocaina" instead of "gasolina" but it was censored or whatever

It was definitely not guesswork. Chemists do the same with fancy chemicals. These people just substitute those chemicals with common items. |

At the end they forgot to say they were readding sulfuric acid after the ammonia, as it doesn't make sense that they'd get the sulphate from adding a base in (you'd get the oily freebase).
The process here is a simple acid base extraction, if they didn't do that first initial wash and stomp on it with their feet they'd probably get much better yields, too.
I don't think there's anything really that dangerous in there that won't be removed with further processing.
The production of stuff like methamphetamine is a lot more scary. |
