guy gerber mix is great as well.
Fearless One
original >>> gerber mix

awsome tune, but i wouldn't really compare it to old skool trance, for me it's more like new skool trance aka neo trance... tho some people claim that there's no such thing at all

Pretty good. Cocoon has delivered some very good REAL trance this year. Pig & Dan's Touch and On To The Beat for example :)

Yeah I agree that it doesn't sound like old skool trance (sounds much better IMO), it's more minimal and better produced. But the idea is like from the original trance. It's like reading a book. Every track is an unique story, there's no generic structures etc. And there is SOUL.

There's a Guy Gerber mix?
Djeebie
Both mixes are great. The original is way more trancey than the Guy Gerber mix though. Gerber's mix has a really cool feel to it

Anyway, the original is one of the best examples of how trance should sound like if I were to listen to the genre again.

Where is this Guy Gerber mix you all speak of? Shenanigans!

Sweet thanks! I've never been to that site before, I'll definitely be checking it more often :D

Mmmm :clown: This does sound like old school trance. This is what it's all about. Wtf is ASOT :p  ?

That lead synth is so simple, yet powerfully effective. Cocoon is such an ownage label. :tongue3

Ref
