| I guess I was just not prepared for that kind of graphic violence. I felt physically ill during the first scene. Some of the images from that movie will be with me a long time. |

*edit* to Nat, not quick McDraw Sarah |
I would actually go see this movie again, it was that awesome (except for the brutality of some of the scenes- it was so crazy seeing a whole movie theater of people cringe, squirm, and turn away during those scenes!)
I definitely want to check out "Volver", the new Almodovar film, and "City of Men" (< maybe tonight even). |

Over the last couple of weeks I've seen 3 movies, and I loved them all.
I went to see The Holiday with Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jack Black and Jude Law. I love love LOVED this movie so much,it was just, imo, perfect storyline line for a great holiday movie.
Then I took my 3 year old daughter to see Charlottes Web. I remember reading this book in public school, and loving it so much, so I was very excited to take Makayla to see the movie. It did not disappoint. Dakota Fanning is such a brillant little actress. I fell in love with her and Wilbur the pig within the first five minutes of the movie. Great cihldren's and adult movie. (Bring some kleenex though :( )
Just last Sunday, my boyfriend and I finally went to see Casino Royale. Great movie. I liked this one more than a lot of the other Bond movies, cause it wasn't all about gagets and blowing things up. I thought this movie was really well done. |

Children Of Men
I liked it a lot. Can't really give it a rating out of 10, but it's a good movie for sure. Loaded with some very powerful and emotion-evoking cinematography. And the action sequences are great too. A good balance of both drama and action imo. |

Just watched
Apocalypto
Pretty intense movie. Some parts were just too ed-up for me to watch, and I've watched a Jap woman stick a turnip up her ass. Movies usually have like a few really suspenseful points, but this one, for the entire 2 hours, was like one long cliffhanger scene. Definitely kept me on the edge of my seat as to what will happen next. That said though, in the end it's pretty pointless, and the end is kinda iffy (it was either a ending, or Mel just left the gates wide open for a sequel). And I still don't get why it's called "Apocalypto" to be honest. Overall, a good watch. Makes quite an impression on you. |

Well I have seen this movie as well and I couldnt agree more with yah but the movie title I think pretains to the apocalypse that the natives endured when the Europeans came over. It was a complete destruction of the main characters life and what he thought was the world around him. |
