| Lookin' forward to Burridge as I missed his FW set a while back, and thought his Decadence set was a bit lacking...plus it's not one, but TWO friends' Birthday Celebrations, and we have the table booked right beside the booth ;) |

Really? I didn't think it lacked anything musically, in fact I thought his set and when he played with Howells were the best parts of the night. It sucked that it was in the GUV MAIN ROOM for only TWO HOURS though. I was still quite pleased, and that says a lot 'cause I had just seen him in Miami for 7+ hours.
Different strokes for different folks, but Lee has yet to disappoint me!

I'm not sure if anyone has heard but I'm not going to play at TIL tonight. There's been some crazy weather in the US today and several cities airports were shut down. All seemed well when I went to La Guardia airport to catch my flight at 8.30pm. I got as far as the check in desk when everyone was informed there were to be no more flights leaving tonight (but I could get on one in the morning...like that helped!). I asked if there were any flights to anywhere to try and make a connection but sadly "NO" was the answer.
I'm really sorry to those of you who made plans to come out tonight and am totally down that I'm not there. Last time in Toronto a few weeks back was awesome.
I hope to see you all soon.

Thank you Lee for posting this. Its the wrath of God and a beautiful blessing in disguise. Can't stand This is London and we'll definitely see you at Footwork next time. The gods did not want you to play at that cheesy place TiL!!! :p |
