How are these Melodies?

Hey guys i usually make my melodies before i put the rest of the track together,
just want your thoughts on 2 melodies before i go into further with the track,any thing im doing wrong something you like? something i should do more of etc?

Well, I'll just shoot you straight...
I think your on the right track, but try condensing the melody lines to simpler, smaller phrases. You keep jumping in and out of what I would see as different musical thoughts. Basically you literally have 10 DIFFERENT melodies here as im hearing it. Try keeping things simpler at first.

| Sounds very random to me. Not like a planned melody. I think it sounds very generic. The arp is very simple. I'd go back and make it more coherent and intentional. |
