New phone or save money

right now i have the samsung A950, i hate it, so i went into verizon today to look at new phones, ive always been interested in the chocolate, but have heard a lot of about it being a bad phone. So i see a new phone, the lg enV (lg vx9900), new version of the V, im thinking about getting it but i dont know if i should save my money seems how im kinda broke atm.
but yeah heres the phone

| I have the phone that came free with the plan two years ago. Works fine. I wouldn't waste money on a new phone. ESPECIALLY if I'm low on money. |

why do people have to get the *new* phone? i mean, , i bought a phone on ebay for $40....it's used and it was cheap. and it works...relatively...fine.
don't see the need for those high-tech super gadget cell phones that can pretty much do everything even your taxes |
