rokout was a joke.
Didnt open the gates til 5-530(was there at that time but we had friends who were there around 330 waiting).
3 outdoor stages that were close to each other so the sound wasnt great.
DnB stage had speakers that kept crackin/poppin.
I was impressed by Mickey Avalon. Never heard him before so I was laughing to his lyrics.
Z-trip was AWESOME! Another I havent seen before. Have heard great things about him just never had a chance to catch him. Now I have and if he's playing at like EDC or NW next year, I'll see him again.
Caught a bit of Sandra and Jimmy. The dance stage had good lighting considering.
PRODIGY!! INSANE!! Totally worth the money($30). It was great that hte turn out wasnt huge. Made for a better chance of actually seeing them.
Mauro closed but with a small crowd. After Prodigy finished everyone left. We stuck around for about 1/2 hour then left. I had 3 consecutive late nights(Wed-Disney, Thanksgiving, Fri-Hawtin/Mills) and I was beat.
I would say maybe about 2500 people, if that, showed up. I could be wrong.
I had a great time despite the turn out. Seeing 2 new "acts" was a bonus but I was there strictly for Prodigy.
I dont think Rokout will happen again. They must have lost ALOT of money for lack of turn out. They just didnt promote it enough. Sad. |

edit // Thanksgiving weekend has to be hard to throw events anyway. It's probably tough for some people to just see their family for a day or two rather than the whole weekend ya know? |
