Hi all,
Due to "creative differences," Pre_scription at Metro has been shelved. For those of you on here who made it out - cheers! There will be some other regular Bodega-related thing coming up soon enough.
In the mean time, I'll be playing (as the Fat East Coast) at NoCommercialValue's Thursday night thing at Kafein this week, so hope to see some of you there. Not sure if any of the NCV crew posts on here, but they do great work:

thanks!

Will try and come to Kafein for sure! I really dig that place :) |

| Yeah, Kafein is great! It's so wierd to see hookahs in use as you look out from the dj booth.... |

Some of my favorite gigs have been at small coffee shops and lounges- It's a great atmosphere to try out some new jams and experiment a little more with your sound.
This summer we did a bit of a bootleg gig at my friend's cafe in Lima - went perfectly. We brought all our gear in backpacks and as the band there was finishing their set we set it all up on the other side of the cafe and started spinning as soon as the band got off - people were definetely suprised to see a couple of DJs pop out of nowhere, but it was great - me and my mate just played 4 hours of smooth deep house- Funkalicious :) |
