since you stay out pretty late where are your favorite places to fill your cravings after a night out?

story from my locodice @ cielo review
quote:
sumit and i left at about 4.30 and sat on the bench around the corner for about 15 minutes staring into space (i think we were people watching). then i got a craving for korean bbq so we hopped a cab to LES for those oh so good burgers with spicy kimchee. no dice. then we tried to hit 28th and lex for indian but all those places were closed as well. we eventually ended up at a corner deli in queens on our way to white castle.

haandi on 28th and lex - cheap really good indian food i always thought it was open 24/7 but i've gone there 3 times in the last month around 4am-6am and found it closed
korean bbq - guy on a cart at the corner of ludlow and stanton
white castle - nothing beats white castle after a night of heavy drinking
hot dogs - gray's papaya 39th and 8th, papaya king on 6th ave. right behind love

where else? preferably specific places that are open late.

On Long Island...
1) T-Bell
2) White Castle
3) Candlelight Diner in Commack is pretty good. If you go anywhere between 12am-3am you're gonna encounter the drunk guidos who are always annoying.

in manhattan it's all about Papaya's and Kati Rolls (mmmm) [also, r.i.p. the original Kiev, everyone's favorite greasy hole :( ]

in queens it's the Neptune Diner or Taco Bell on Utopia & Northern.

heading back home to brooklyn, it's either Tiffany's Diner or Vegas Diner

:)

i can never find open up here when it's really late. on my way back to providence after a night in boston, i usually stop off at the 24hr mcdonald's in seekonk...

new england's dearth of 24hr dining options vexes me greatly.

my joint - Big Nicks - 77th and Broadway in the UPPER WEST - love them burgers, also if you stop in, give me buzz I might just stop down since I live around the corner AND its 24/7/366 ;)

Grays Papaya if im at love on 8th and 6th or around my neck of the woods again on 72nd and Amsterdam.

The OFFICIAL queens 24/7 spot (and this one is for my boy chilling in Whitestone - Dennis the Menace aka Phazon) - hit up Cherry Valley for some proper BUSHMAN Heros. Never been to Cherry Valley? I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU HIT THAT SPOT UP.

Cherry Valley
1229 150th St
Whitestone, NY 11357
(718) 767-1937

Try the Bushman with a Waffle Couch (or Couch Potato if you don't like waffle fries).

For the BK treat, I've hit up Kings Hwy Diner, definitely a good place to eat too bad its not 24/7...definitely recommended to stop in and grab a bite also hit up Kings Hwy Mall, its not as ghetto as it used to be say back 5-10 years...and yes the dollar vans still running Flatbush.
