sleep is so important for me. |
me too, let's snuggle;) hee hee...
I have been sleeping a lot these dayz. I stayed up once about a month ago, in turn the following day I lost my voice, got a respitory infection (went to the guv those damn smoke machines!) and had to call in sick with no pay:( - because I had no voice for days - to me, it's not worth it! just go out for abit - get the suffice amount of sleep and go to work - it's better to be hungover then to work on no sleep! |

I always end up working Saturday and Sunday at some point... I don't really have a job that I can leave at the office. Luckily I convinced some shrink I've got ADD last year--dexedrine's a lifesaver. That and a good strong cup of coffee can keep me going usually till 7pm or so, after which point I'm thoroughly fried. A good strong cup of coffee, some vitamins, a shower and a light, protein and veggies-filled meal usually helps a lot, too.
Alcohol seems a bit touch and go... After the brainfry sets in, ain't nothin' feels so good as a couple of beers, but red wine or liquor makes me mad nauseous. Anyone else have the same reaction? |

| With my job i can take a smoke break every hour. listen to music all day and do anything on the internet so its not bad, especially if i have a few joints rolled up. once i get home i still usually stay up laye too. sleep hates me i think. |

| I start work at 3:30. Luckily my job isn't very physicaly demanding and by 4:30 I'm usually the only one in the building. I prefer staying awake all day Monday and going to work like that. I find if I go to sleep I risk over sleeping, staying awake is easier. Summertime is best though, I space my vacation time out and take every Monday and Friday off. 3 day work weeks rule! |

| Working after partying is easy when you're surrounded by sketchbags. |

| I make sure that partying doesn't interfere with my work life. I have a job that requires attention, creativity and lotsa responsibility (who doesn't) so i need all my brain cells firing properly. If i do a zone day, then i typically take Monday off (lots of days saved up) to treat myself, or keep my partying to Saturday night/sunday morning. Friday nights are ideal, so i get the weekend to recoup. This is all tempered by the required 'family time' on the weekends. I'm with the thought that if you are partying enough to interfere with work, then you need to re-evaluate your partying. It's a great and exciting scene, but all in moderation...otherwise you'll saturate the experience for yourself and be sensitized....and suck at your job. ;) |
