That's hardly Tiesto's first offence tho is it...

L.S.G. - Hearts anyone?

It is a bit strange that it happens so frequently... but maybe its for the easiness of naming the track as "one of their own" as opposed to being the guy who remixes old songs stealing the glory...

Not Really I just found a few weeks that Just Be wasn't produced by Tiesto and Actually it's his album name.

the name on Tiesto Cd is
Tiesto Feat Kirsty Hawkshaw - Just Be

Actually the Correct name would be

Kirsty Hawkshaw - Just Be Me (DJ Tiesto Remix)

When I first saw the name of the song featuring Kirsty's name, I thought it was only her Voice and Tiesto on the Production.

Now I found also that the producer of Just Be is a guy name Jimmy Gomez, I have no Idea who is he, but he is the one that should take credit for the music.

so the real name should be

Jimmy Gomez Feat Kirsty Hawkshaw - Just Be Me (DJ Tiesto Remix)

montana
Allure - The Love We Lost = Paula Cole - She Can't Feel Anything Anymore (Tiesto Remix)

Rabbit In The Moon - Out of Body Experience = Tori Amos - Precious Things (RITM Remix)

if you are going be like that tehn

In the CD jacket of "Just Be" under "Adagio For Strings" does is credit Barber at all? If so then it's all gravy as long as he is credited somewhere.

this is just a part of music in general. all you can do is not be ignorant and know where the real talent is.
Arraias
Ayla - Liebe, i'll enjoy this for much time and is a remake of a Cosmic Baby Track, Ayla version is better but only with a search i discoverr this.

Indeed. That's where the music (info) freaks among us get into the picture, the ones who need and want to know everything about every track they listen. And then there's the rest who don't need to know it all. :p
Completely agree! I see this more and more nowadays. Hate to continue picking on Tiesto but...

Conjure One - Tears From The Moon
Delirium - Silence (feat Sarah McLauchlan)

When I play the originals for friends, they all scream, "Tiesto, Tiesto!" Nitwits. Granted, Tiesto is a genius at remixing.

And there are so many more to even count.

- Fly

Blake_Jarrell
ali dubfire - i feel speed

is really

love and rockets - i feel speed

there are alot of other deep dish examples, im not sure how they get away with it. would really love to know though

as for the led zepplin thing, anything written before the copyright act of 1973 is going to have completely different rules for covering, remixing, renaming etc than for more modern stuff.
