Yeah I dig the simple pattern a lot more. If you stuck to stuff like that, I think it would actually warm the room up a lot.
The retro design seems more sterile. |

| Or you could even get some bamboo or wicker (whatever that rustic wood is) blinds, and then hang the curtains over them. That would really bring out the ethnic theme without going too jungle book. |

I want warm, my sister said to go with a red/brown/burgundy color. Thing is I want dark brown/chocolate color furniture, so I dont know how it would all work with each other. Luckily I have light floors, so I dont have to worry about that. |

Hmmm, looks like I might have to... sounds like the makings of a panty dropping bed room.
Get a nice fo-fur blanket, and ALOT of pillows on the bed. :p |

Best suggestion so far.
You can either make it a solid light colour which will brighten the place up or you can make it a darker one like the one above and make it feel more secluded.
Just stay away from patterns because ultimately all they do is reveal two facts of life about yourself, firstly youre trying to pretend you have taste and secondly, sorry, but youre revealing it too the world that you dont have any and sometimes thats not a good thing :haha: |

a lot of pillows = only good if you have a big bed
i have a queen size and 3's good, could have 4, but no more
oh man i used to have a king sized, between sleeping pillows, support ones for sitting up, and smaller decorative pillows, i had like 7
god i miss that bed |

You need a body pillow for sure. Then layer two head pillows on that, then two more throw pillows on top of those, and then a couple smaller cushion-type pillows. Perfect!
DEFINITELY have a big puffy duvet! Oh man, I love crawling into a big bed covered in a duvet...makes me feel like a kid again.
It's gotta be plush, man. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm I think I'm getting sleepy, and I haven't studied yet, lol. |
