Hello Everyone,

I just got a new puter, and it's right infront of my decks...what would I need to hook up from my mixer to the soundcard on the computer? I want to be able to record a set into the computer, and then burn it to cd. Also, any suggestions as to what program I would use to record with on the computer?

Thanks so much for your help
Peace,
Steve :D

Hey Viceroy :)
First off get a RCA to 3.5mm cable.
Make sure your soundcard has an Input jack.
Plug in the RCA to the "Out" of your mixer and 3.5mm in your soundcard "Input".
Use software to record the "Line In". And it should all be cool. I think "Soundforge" can record the line in input. I myself have not recorded a set to PC yet but my friend says that Soundforge should work.
Have fun..
ttyl.
