There's really no point to this thread but I'm gonna make it anyway because I'm bored. I'm gonna be working at Foot Locker in the Roosevelt Field Mall starting in a week or so. I'm just doing it to hold me over until I start the electricians apprenticeship. I'm happy because I'm gonna be making some money but I remember why I went back to school in the first place... so I don't have to deal with stupid people. This also means that I'm not gonna be able to go out as much. I'm sure I'll still find time. Don't go asking me for a discount yet!

i was workin at skechers for 6mo at RF till Sept. Have fun during the hoilday season. I just have one advise for you... try to avoid any closing shifts you can b/c YOU WILL STAY an extra 2-3hrs after ur shift is over. |

| I hit up roosevelt alot, ill stop in foot sometime. good luck with dealin with annoying holiday customers...i used to work at athletes foot years ago...was such an easy, laid back job. |

Yeah, I worked in that store before. I'm used to it. I must say, I'm DEF not looking forward to closing. That store gets ED UP in every way. I remember staying until nearly 1-2am sometimes.

Cool man, I'll keep an eye out.
I just got back from the store and they're gonna be paying me a lot more then what I thought. I know the store manager and operations manager well so I'm sure that helps. They're gonna be giving me salary plus commission. I should be making decent money, especially around this time of year. It's funny, I'm making more of a base pay now than what I was making when I was an assistant. Go figure.

Yay, I get to start today (sarcasm and no, I didn't mean for that to rhyme). They left a voicemail on my phone letting me know that the amount I wanted was approved. So I'm gonna take a shower then get over there. I knew I should have waited to call them back.
