thanks for the replies guys, makes me feel a little better. I'll clean the bathroom I think ... flowers do seem like a pansy way out, like oh i ed up but let me make it up by buying something expensive and not actually doing anything myself. |

| no, flowers would make it look like you think you did something unforgiveable, which i don't think is the case. this really wasn't that bad. i would view it as more of something to laugh about. sure, if i had been one of those girls, and some stranger came staggering in (with a key), i'd be like, "WTF" at first, but as soon as things got cleared up, i would have laughed it off. |

I think cleaning the bathroom is way overcompensating. Flowers shouldn't be a deal-sweetener either.
The key thing is to be accountable, like I said. Don't give any ing excuses, or make up some long-winded bull, or offer any kind of services. Just get straight to the point by admitting you ed up and that it won't happen again. Simple and sincere is always the best route.
Everyone likes flowers though. :p |
