Totally robbed by LOT Polish Airlines :wtf:

So it's about Christmas time, my parents and I got the idea to suprise my family in Poland with coming there for christmas, haven't been there for christmas or new years in over 6 years.
So get this, we go to lot.com to buy tickets cause they were the only ones that we could find to fly yo Rzeszow, since we live in Przemysl it's the closest location to home. 2 days ago we find tickets for december 19th, checked last night THOSE TICKETS ARE GONE.
So we check different dates, 17th of december, the tickets are available, so were like: ok enough bullting around lets get them while they're available. So we go to buy, the amazing service Polish websites and airlines offer is mindboggling! Flash errors and hangups on every page!
So anyways, we go put in card info, passenger info for e-tickets, press buy now....TECHNICAL ERROR, TICKETS COULD NOT BE PROCESSED. So I think, might be a temporary error, no biggy, try again, re enter info, SAME ING ERROR 8 TIMES IN A ROW. So I'm thinking, call the helpline, 24/7 it says. We call, get this, not suprised but the helpline doesn't exist anymore...
What the do you put a 24/7 helpline up for if it isn't available anymore...so, after clicking 8 times I tell my mother, look call the ing credit card and see if anything is charged from LOT so we did. Yes they charged the ammount for 3 passengers, boston to chicago, chicago to warsaw then warsaw to rzeszow. Ok looks like we got the tickets, but we never got an email confirming them or the print for them itself.
So I'm pissed, we wait till this morning because us poles in the 21st century are so hard working, offices are only open till 9pm so they don't hurt their little fingers. So we cal in the morning, call the airlines, they said NO WE JUST BLOCKED THE MONEY FOR THE TICKETS, A TOTAL OF 3884.17$ BUT YOU DID NOT GET THE TICKETS. SOMEONE BEAT YOU TO IT. BUT WE STILL TOOK MONEY.
So we call capitol one, we want to see what was charged, so we call and ing get this. This is brilliant, EVEN THOUGH ALL THOSE CLICKS CAME UP YO TECHNICAL ERROR PAGES THEY TOOK MONEY EVERY ING TIME WE GOT THE ERROR. 8 ING TIMES. So my dads card got flushed by LOT 8x3884.17$ = over 20,000$ In ing charges. Who ing thought that getting technical dificulties and stil not even getting your tickets cause someone else got them, you'd ing still be charged. 20k$, so we call LOT and say they have to contact capitol one to get rid of the charges. They say they can't, you gotta write an email to LOT stating what happened then they'll do it.
How ed up is that?...so now we have no tickets and well see if we can get them to krakow since rzeszow is gone.

omg sorry about this. that is completely f*cked. you shouldn't even have to write a letter because they should KNOW that it was a mistake with all of those tickets charged like that.
edit: did you enter an e-mail? did you get an e-mail confirmation? |

C0r summary: I get charged 20,000$ by polish airlines, I didn't even basically purchase tickets. What happened is I got technical difficulities every time I tried buying the tickets, 8 x 3884.17$ = over 20k.
And no tickets.
Edit: and yes andrea I did, but thing is someone got them before us, so even though they were sold out, they didn't prompt us saying they were, we just got bull technical site errors. So they charged us for each time we retried |

| Just cancel the charges on the credit card. I know american express lets you do this. |
