"basically looking for people, particularly women and visible minorities"
hey my name's Layal - I'm basically looking for anyone who has an interesting experience to share but I've already included two friends who are both white, males so I'm trying to diversify a little... |

also we could hide the identity of the person who was willing to share their experience - although that might be tricky because we would also need to get a visual picture of the experience
(ie. dancing in club) |

* raving = going to a club that plays electronic music
My friends and I often go raving on Friday or Saturday nights. Actually - for the last number of years - almost every other weekend we have gone raving at one of Toronto's finer venues.
Some nights are just an average night out - but when a big DJ comes to town or a special event happens (long-weekend, etc) - there is extra electricity and excitement in the air.
On these special weekends, pretty much without fail, at some point during the night we each have some sort of mystical experience - moments of absolute enlightenment, moments of overwhelming fun, moments of total connection, moments of heightened spirituality, moments of personal reflection, moments of hands in the air, moments of feet on the floor. Some moments more intense than others.
I have found that these mystical experiences tend to happen in the early morning as there is something very magikal about daybreak. It is at this time that many are most receptive and open to experiential moments/events.
The early morning is the magik. It is when the good tunes are played. It is when the real party happens.
And thus EM3T was born... ;) |

Everytime I go out to a club I have a mystical experiance of sorts, but I wouldn't call it spiritual. There's no God involved even if many of us do call CZ church. There is a connection to a deeper feeling though, somewhere in the pit of your being. I can't put it into words, I can only feel it. It's primal. I don't think it's the drugs either, I think it's a combination of the music and the crowd. I definately have a stronger experiance in certain crowds with certain music then others.
I'd be willing to be on your show but I'm a white male so you may not be interested, that and I probably won't say what you want to hear. I'm not a faith kind of person, I don't believe in anything for which there is no concrete evidance. The best I can ever do is be open to the possibility. |

| I'm a south asian female but there's no way I'd appear on camera and I don't think any of this is spiritual or even mystical. It's just plain fun! :) |

the magik as we know it cannot be captured on film. it's in your heart. |

Everyone knows you'll get a much more mystical or spiritual experience when you take LSD or shrooms compared to E at these parties.
"Turn on, tune in and drop out" as you meditate and ask Timothy Leary on the other side...;)
Exploitation of TOTA drug users!!!:D |
