The only way to vote well in this competition is to vote Arbiter, for a return to traditional COR values. Anyone who's been around here for more than a couple of years knows what a downturn this place took in '04 and '05, and let me tell you - no matter how many "the COR is going downhill" posts you've read, there haven't been enough to signify how true it is.

The interesting discussions, intense flame wars, and witty humor of the past are all but extinct, and they've been replaced with chat/talk threads better relegated to PMs or IRC, and a brand of humor that more often than not crosses the line into stupidity. Few members of the "old guard" still post here regularly, and many have been forced to abandon the place entirely.

The "cor whores" that this competition has centered around in the past are largely a part of the disease, not the cure. So, with my unfortunate inclusion in this year's contest, I see an insult, and an opportunity - to battle those who have poisoned this forum with their inane banter on their own turf.

I don't claim to be a deserving "cor whore" champion. I have no intention of whoring myself out for votes by any means other than campaigning on the issues: and the issue is that the COR needs a change of direction. We need to turn our backs on those who've spammed us, bored us to death, and chased away most of our interesting members by using their own popularity contest against them. Vote Arbiter in 2007, and thumb your nose at those responsible for the decline of the COR.

Too long for teh cor, vote jonSun ;) :p

Take a look people. Is Arbiter even close to the face of the core? no.

This is the person who ruined a perfectly good genetalia-mutilation thread with a boring debate on what stupidity actually is WITHOUT EVEN POSTING A CORE VERSION

Dude, if it's real the deal is you get 250g of 29% THC herb. We split things evenly on team Turner/Promo. :)

And even better, if it's bogus, then we've got plenty of fodder for our negative campaign against Snail! It's win-win m8 - Filthy politics at it's best! MUAHHHUAHAAHAHAAHA!

You only prove my point. This place would be better if the lot of you took your 5-second attention spans elsewhere (preferably off a cliff).

A vote for arbiter is a very bad vote. Plus you don't get herbs.

As you can see, unlike other contestants I refuse to pander to the lowest common denominator. If you want to vote for someone who's just bullting to you, go ahead and vote for the Ivands and Sunsnails. If you want to vote for someone who stands firm on real values, and who represents a positive force towards change in the COR, vote Arbiter.

Arbiter calls his opponents bullters, yet has not offered a sliver of real substance to his posts. He says he stands on "real values" yet has not demonstrated any of this in the past. What we have seen from Arbiter are long-winded posts. Is this the type of change he suggests for the core?

I, on the other hand, have already demonstrated what I believe in through my actions, not my words. Remember the whale thread? Foreskin thread? Weren't those lovely?
