and the new rave song for BLADE 2 is...

..actually when they first enter the vampire rave this time the first song they're playing is Bubba Sparxx & Crystal Method - phdream (from the soundtrack) but when they flash back to the rave scene again to show a feeding frenzy the track they're playing is no other than Voodoo & Serano - Blood is Pumpin'

All of you guys should remember when they played New Order - Confusion (Pump Panel Remix) during the first Blade. It then became an anthem all over the world and was redone by several artists including the popular Public Domain - Operation Blade version. I was pleasantly surprised to see our trance culture represented in the movie and almost went crazy when i recognized "Higher State of Conciousness"-like melody. It could have been a slightly different remix other than the original but it was Blood is Pumpin'.

a little info behind the track..
..written and produced by and DJ Voodoo and CJ Stone then released on white label in November of 2000. The first time most people heard it was prolly when ATB spun it early in his set at Trance Energy Feb 17 2001. During the summer it was an anthem..at least around here in Texas. The melody samples "Higher State of Conciousness" from Philedelphia's own Josh Wink and was released back in 1997 and signed by JUDGE JULES of all people. :D

BTW, the movie kicks ass!
wookieslut

i don't know what you're talking about dude but all i can tell you is the leader of the bloodpack Nyssa (real name LEONOR VARELA) is in hot! she is from Chile, no wonder! :p excuse the cheesy pun.

too bad she's engaged to Billy Zane, who is conincedentally Rose's fiance from Titanic.

Dam right she is a hottie! her fiance is a real lucky guy to have her :)

NOW on to the Blade 2 soundtrack.. please tell me I am not the only one that thought it was a TOTAL Disapointment? Why Trance has been combined with many things but come on! Rap and hip hop artis!??!?

Mystikal and Moby
Mos Def and Massive Attack
Cypress Hill and Roni Size
Ice Cube and Paul Oakenfold
Busta Rhymes, Silkk The Shocker and The Dub Pistols
Eve and Basement Jaxx
Bubba Sparxxx and The Crystal Method
Jadakiss, Fabolous and Danny Saber
Trina, Rah-Digga and Groove Armada

Good god, I am Glad i didn't buy the album! One of the FEW things i hate most is listening to Rap & Hop-hip.. now i seriously dont feel rap & trance goes together.. Why put amazing trance djs with the Rap and Hop-Hip artist.. its never been done for a fuking reason!

oh well.. just my opinion :toothless
