thx...they are both alive and well although my dad nearly passed in april. His thing was he was too proud to admit he needed help some male ego thing. The point i make to people is that no there is no cure for it...but you can treat it and you can live a normal happy healty life as long as you get treatment for it. My dad and stepmom are living proof of that. The join red idea is really doing a great job of getting the word out about aids and with the companies that are behing join red a difference can really be made. Even if you dont buy anything just adding them to your myspace and sign up for the email you are getting the word out to one more person who may see it on your myspace, and so on and so on. I feel that AIDS/HIV is the one thing that eveyone knows about but everyone is skurd to talk about it... and you can now help spread the word so to say.. |
