I've never laughed on your stupid posts so much !!!
You people talk about Russia and haven't been there at all.
All I see is the thread full of ignorant people showing their prejudiced opinion on a matter. Don't even want bothering to go in a dispute. |
My town is full of russians. They are hard as rocks, and cold as ice, most of them are part of the new mob that is forming around here. I've talked to some of them, and they are so blind. They talk about russia like it's the best country in the world. One time I asked, "Why did you move?" And one guy said, "Because I couldn't eat and my father was beating my mother everyday." A country that lets you starve is not a good one.
But after that he still talked greatly about Russia, that's very dangerous, in my opinion.
A very racist and intolerant people, I might add. |

Well I completely agree that the people are cold as ice and hard as rocks (although you are looking at a particular segment of Russians - the Jewish-Russians from Ukraine and rural areas, they're a completely different breed than people currently living in Moscow, for example, so keep your perspective straight).
If you'll notice, a lot fewer Russian immigrants are coming to America than before, almost none. Moscow is Europe's new star, according to even magazines like Forbes. It is the hottest city in terms of entertainment, economic activity, nightlife, etc. It has even eclipsed Berlin, London, and other big cities. Have you read "Forbes' 10 hottest cities in the world" lately?
One more thing to note. The fact that there is a lot of political/VIP crime in Russia doesn't mean that the crime in everyday Russia is exorbitant. Provided that one stays out of the "VIP" circle of politicians and oligarchs, downtown America is actually much scarier. |

Also a country that lets you live with a violent person is not a good one. Thank you! I said the Russians are very racist and intolerant people and no one believed me. I didn't mean every body of course. There are those who are not racist. |

One of my HS teacher did some type of thing where she stayed with a family in russia. The family specifically said, "No jews" and made rude comments about jews all the time. She said beside germany, that it was one of the most anti-semetic countries that's she's been too. They also have a problem with homosexuals, and think they are the only ones that spread AIDS.
The funny thing is that my teacher teaches genocide studies, and knows every jew, probably in the whole country, because she's done so much about holocaust awareness. |

Thatnk God! I leave for a year and I see that nothing has changed. Everything goes back to the great Zionist conspiracy. And yes life is good.
On that note please continue. |

Not if you happen to be in Europe... we get a huge portion of our energy from there we'd be screwed (all of Europe) if they turned off the gas.
I'd also like to state that there is no proof that Russia killed him. |

Homocide rates per 100 000 people:
Germany: 1.1
USA: 5.5
Russia: 20.2
Russia must have a hell of a big "VIP" circle! (equally it could be argued that as long as you stay away from the gangs in the US you are cool) |

Yep, I'm not brave. I spent 6 hours in a Russian airport cowering waiting for a connecting flight to London. Least they didnt give me near the bother that US customs gave me on a number of occassions, actually they didnt give a stuff which was a nice change. |

ignore what HTP had to say about Moscow being all amazing; he just wants to try and bash America. Which he fails horribly, seeing as to how downtown Chicago is really beautful and that he never has been to Moscow. And yeah that number, for the muder rate surprises me. I expected it to be higher. |
