Buy thousands of dollars worth of hardware synths and effects. ;)
Nah. What parts of your sound are you having trouble with? |

1/ you walk around the console three times in an anti clockwise direction (five times if console is under $50 000)
2/ say 7 hail marys
3/ wave your rosary around your head in a clockwise direction until the sound is almost right.
4/ put a multiband compressor on and pump the ratio to 1:20 and the threshhold way down low
5/ Go and spin that tune!
 |

not really helpful is it...
anyway mate it's all down to how you mix the tune make sure each element has it's own frequency space in the field and doesn't clash with any other elements ie (eq) . make sure you find or make sounds which fit nice together, also down to volume levels aswell make sure you get your volume levels right if this is wrong it can sound e anyway. Compression is not always important i think tunes are too compressed these days but thats my personal opionion i think levels is the main issue. |

lol...it doesn't have to do anything with time...
it's mostly about reading, knowing, trying, learning and all....everyone gets it in is own time...one can make great sounds in 2-3 years when the other makes the same sounds after 10 years...all depends...
it's not something you can change in a day...it's a process...work on it...read articles...try different things...not everything needs to be to complex... |
