| I notice that all major record labels have their own distinct style of sound in the tracks they release, despite the fact that there are different artists involved. Are the producers actually creating tracks according to that "sound" of the label? I don't know if this makes sense.. but if it does.. What do you think? |

labels usaully have a distinct sound but artists dont go out of their way to stay in that sound (it would take away from the creativity) if hte label likes their sound they sign them.
creating a sound that matches that of your label isnt really that important i ve heard numerous tracks from numerous artists that are completely different than what i expected from the label. |

| Producers make whatever track they want. They then send it out to various labels. Those labels end up deciding whether or not that particular track fits their "sound." |

| Some producers do stick with a specific sound which ends up being picked up by a specific label. I noticed it a lot with Armins label. |

Too bad most producers nowadays seem to mistake "style" for "using the same presets over and over again". |

| I definitely think some producers gear their tracks towards a label's "sound". Think about the Intuition guys (Menno, Jonas, etc.). |
