Haven't seen anything for hoops yet, so I'll start something...

First off, just Division III, but check out this score-
Lincoln Univ beat Ohio State-Marion, 201-78!

Very up and down start for my Jayhawks. Lose at home early on, then come back and beat Florida and then lose again today to DePaul... not defending the 3s are killing us so far.

Greg Oden played his first game on Saturday, and puts up 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 blocks. Impressive start for the frosh. However, if he wants to progress at a better state in the pros, he needs to work on those free throws.

my explanation for this...
D-III basketball is like NBA Jam, There are hot spots on the floor that double and triple your points and .

Also, you can catch on fire and dunk from half court.

but yeah I wonder if D-III basketball uses the BCS system? The BCS takes into account point differential as you all know.

nah D-III uses a blind voting system to place teams by blind folding the ball thrower and tell him to throw the ball at some random sign, and the first sign that is hit will be ranked #1.

Go Pac-10! Representing this year. UCLA #1 at the moment, Washington #8, and my Oregon Ducks at 6-0 with a sweet victory on the road against Georgetown (although who hasn't beaten G Town already).
