The 20 seconds of rage was worth it. I had to take it out on something after being so tired and pissed off. |

I barely skimmed the article, but the part I found funny was the part where he says "You can only carry so many records to a club."
:wtf: You're :wtf: carrying :wtf: 900 lbs. :wtf: of :wtf: equipment :wtf: around :wtf: and :wtf: you're :wtf: bitching :wtf: about :wtf: the :wtf: bulkiness :wtf: of :wtf: vinyl :wtf: ???????????? |

Cool. I would seriously much rather see Zabiela with an EFX 1000 and his CDJ's, etc.
That's enough for me :D |

In all my efforts to find a Jonathen Peters set or video that sounds even remotely good, I've failed miserably.
The man is a joke - I've never heard such awful misuse of technology. |

| Can somebody post a set for those of us who are not as 'informed' about JP's sound? |

haha! he sounds like one of those kids with rich parents that wants to impress girls by DJing. I bet the only reason he gets booked is cus the promoter hasn't heard of him and has seen the ridiculous amount of crap he calls samantha.

ok iam from nyc and know a lil more about jp then you guys ill try to explain the best i can about him
basically he started out a regular dj in local bars and stuff then he became the resident dj at the sound factory which he was at and which is one of nyc's super clubs from 97 to 02
he had a good following he played house, vocals, some tech and even some trance anyway he would be famous not just cause he was the resident dj but that he could spin for 10 to 12 hours week after week
he had a lil bit of a following in nyc and around here a few gigs he had in miami and las vegas but he wassent internatinal at all
he did a few remixs for some artists which were pretty good imo
his biggest remix was the one he did for whitney houston for the track
"my love is your love"
after that he blew up even more in nyc and his partys were great and he was doing a few good tracks here and there
he is also a good mixer belive it or not he can work tracks not like eddie halliwell or nutin but he has some skills
gabriel and dresden even said in an interview that he is one of the best technical djs they ever saw
anyway after his residency ended in 02 he been ending up in diff venues for a few months then leaving them and he wassent producing as much and his crowd became kinda ty and alot of drugs and stuff
so to put it in a nutshell now he is still a good dj imo he is underratted its just his crowds suck and he caters to them more
i dont know how he won best dj in america and he dont really leave nyc at all |
