well from what i remember of the evening........................:nervous:
i have to say that MIKE's set was amazing! hands down the best set i've seen of his. and gil la! you f-ing rocked it last night. thanks for the hard, electroy trance set you played. i loved it. the back room was way fun as always when ksky brings in the club inside a club night. i bounced all over the place! spundae aerobics for me.
ernesto killed michelle and i with the grateful deads, he even told us we were drunk when we went to get our final drink! but they go down so easy and smooth that you forget your drinking a really strong drink and then bam!!! they sneak up on you :crazy: proof of the idiots that michelle and i were last night to follow in the pics she'll be posting soon.
loved watching reza dance to MIKE"s set! he was so happy the whole night and then talking to him afterwards, so cool that djs recognize and appreciate their fans and spend time with them like so many of the djs that come through spundae!
great celebrating the birthday boys night last night! heard there was a cake fight upstairs.
fei-fei, so sorry i missed your set last night,i heard it was banging. i got entirley too faded and when my friend grady said he was going at 3 am i was like take me with you. matt darey had turned too melodic trance for me and i was ready to go. matt started out nice and hard and then turned too mushy for me. although michelle loved it, just not my speed anymore.
grabbed my quesidilla before i left and crashed soon after. great night, great set ksky as always. guess i'll see you tonight, looks like i can hang afterall :D |

OHMIGOD the cake fight outside was RIDICULOUS!!! I got the bday boys with frosting all over their faces but didn't notice till like an hour later that someone swabbed a load of frosting in my hair!!! derrrrrrrrrrr :stongue: good times good times.
So much fun, thank you to EVERYONE who came out and made the night special for our boys and danced to the rocking music in all three rooms. And thanks to everyone who had the energy to stay for my set...I had an AWESOME time as always...enjoi the new CD's ppl! :p

You know I wouldn't miss checking the upstairs. Here's my little review that I posted on the Spundae board. ;)
To those that didn't go last night... YOU GUYS MISSED OUT!
WOW...WHAT A GREAT NIGHT OF MUSIC! All 3 rooms to top it off which made it tough to stay in just 1 room!
Upstairs with Electronic Proficiency was TOPS! I was able to check out Josh Allen and Justin Side... great sets guys! You guys kicked butt!
I missed DJ Gil's set (got there late) but... M.I.K.E.'s set started off alittle different from what I've heard him play before, still good, but once he warmed up really good, he TORE it UP! Don't know any track names but damn... they were hot!
Matt Darey was good, but he'd lose me time to time and that's when I'd make my rounds to the other rooms, like the back room. Was able to check out a few of the DJs there and they too were laying down some great tunes.
Finally, Fei-Fei takes over the main room with her closing set... HOLY SH*T! All of a sudden it looked the main room got crowed again and everyone seemed to go nuts with the tracks she was playing. I think Fei-Fei blew the roof off! Awesome closing set by Fei-Fei! You rocked it girl!
A whole different crowd it seemed, lots of new faces with a few familiar ones and that always add to the night.

| I had a fantastic birthday. Thanks to everyone that came out early and to get the main room going. It was a lot of fun to actually play stuff i don't normally play. It was awesome of MIKE to turn down the music for everyone to sing happy birthday to me. Thanks to everyone that came out. Good thing i missed that cake fight in teh parking lot!!! |
