I hesitated to mention it just because he said "unique" desitnations, and I thought he meant places a bit less travelled. But yes, Amsterdam or Prague would get my vote... :) |

| Meh, Amsterdam. Might very well be because I'm Dutch, but I really don't find it that interesting of a city. |

| amsterdam is awesome for about a week, its a very different place to anywhere down in oz but it loses its appeal after about a week, maybe we just didnt know where to go exactly but the nightlife didnt have as much as we thought would be there. id still recommend it to anyone though :D |

| yeh i only went there for 5 days, red light district the whole time pretty much. awesome if u like to smoke and/or mushies, but i must admit i didn't see a great deal of the city. and i haven't been anywhere else in europe except brussels and paris. so, therefore my opinion probably doesn't count. |

id say berlin if youre interested in a nice mix of culture, food, history, nightlife, and shopping
my second choice would be to spend some time exploring the greek isles. beautiful beaches, awesome food, and very friendly people :toocool: deff go during the summer tho :thepirate
barcelona would also be a great choice. awesome nightlife, nice beaches if you go just south of the city, lots of cool architecture to see and things to do ;)
as for amsterdam, i gotta agree with everyone here. not a very interesting city, lots of very sketchy people and tourists, and not a whole lot to do other than get high. id have to also say that the nightlife there is no where near as good as many other european cities (ie berlin, rotterdam, barcelona, gent, frankfurt), although the festivals around the area during the summer are impossible to beat  |

how are ya tho?
when are you coming back to europe?!?! :whip: i dont know if i told you, but im moving to utrecht in less than a month. awesome city about 30 minutes from amsterdam, kind of a smaller, more comfortable, less cracked out version of amsterdam :stongue: you gotta come visit for some dance valley / mysteryland / extrema, whatev! :disbelief |

barcelona - YES. Spanish food + sangria + spanish women = WIN.
prague - DEFINITELY. I didn't have too many problems speaking English. Prague is a tourist city.
london - meh.
Paris - expensive, but great if you like the French.
Amsterdam - i'm yet to find anywhere in the world quite like it ;)
Berlin - i love it, especially the east side. That's where all the history is at. |
