I find a lot of the US guys tend to be big on names that sound like the old street names of 80's breakers, either that or brands of detergent.
You know, DJ Surge or DJ Sonic Fusion... Not that I have ever washed my socks with Sonic Fusion but you get the drift.

Personally I think we should all get dutch sounding names as Trance producers as that seems to be where it's at.

I think I will become Sven van der Hechtenklog.

DJ names are always difficult and you just have to find something that works... and that above all you would like to be known as so if that's DJ I spank my cats arse three times week except in June, then so be it. You will probably find that whilst there is a lot in a name, in a lot of cases it's the performer that made the name and not the name that made the performer.

Cheers

My friend and I had joke DJ names in highschool, though they were meant to be MC names realy.

DJ Speedstiq (mine) 'cause my ryhmes is funky.

Partially highjacked from Dre's "With grooves/ryhmes(can't remember) so funky they come with a speedstiq".
