Hi all! Just wondering: Why doesnt anyone here ever mention Dj Quicksilver when the subject of "great trance DJ" comes up? Is his music too old, do you not consider it trance, or have you simply not heard his stuff...? I think he's one of the best producers of all time, and gives even our buddy Tiesto a run for his money...

Hey ambrus,
You've got a point there (although I think his latest track is a ripoff, of the original, of Mauro, that doesn't matter). But you also undermined your own question...
You say best trance DJ, and later on you talk about his great PRODUCTIONS. So my question to you, is QUICKSILVER such a great DJ? I've never heared or seen him spin the wheels, on any of the big parties I visited or saw on TV.

I'm a huge Dj Quicksilver fan, I know he dj's or djed but have never actually heard him... however I think he's a great producer, I am curious to hear his sets if he does ever dj... who knows, right!!!

| Men Tall, by "DJ" I just generally refer to anyone in the trance world.. but yes, Quicksilver DOES Dj, thats how his career got strated, although I've yet to hear a live set from him... I also never heard of him playing in any of the big clubs in Europe, and that leaves me clueless.. i guess he must spend all his time writing tracks. BTW what is his latest? I dont think I've heard it. |

well to be honest I didnt used to like his productions but his latest "Ameno" is absolutely ing superb. Look out for it it'll be huge!

Indeed I was talking about Ameno, like Simcut mentioned. But I don't share his enthousiasm. Of course it's a good track, but it lacks originality, which is why I liked DJ Quicksilver's older traxx, like "I have a dream" and "Planet Love"...
I'm not saying it's no good at all, but Mauro has done this a million times, just like Mystique and Marc et Claude. Also, I find a 2 min break on a track of 8 mins a bit long...
But hey, everybody his own opinion right?

| Quicksilver comes out rolling some juicey beats. But your all right...he dont spin live. He's probably just a computer/electronic dj. With no skill in actuall dj'n. |
