hey mate:)
listening atm, here is my opinion:
nice sounds in the beginning. all sounds are good eq-ed
not many to say. only thing is the power i miss when the subbass comes in. That plingy Mesh sounds is cool when the break starts:D melodies are nice man! i like these stings and pads. omg.. leads are nice! i think they could have some more low eq. when it all comes the synth sounds are on the same frequentions i guess. anyway good job again on this great track!

Great job on catching the emotion of divine, it's a tough call though! The breakdown is very divine inspired, but listen to how much more divine builds it up before thumping back in with the kick and offbeat chords. Your breakdown could possibly do with a section simiular to that at the end.
Divine similarities aside, its a really nice tune, so many layers, and all the synthwork is fantastic - especially when they all come together around 1:35, and in the breakdown. Mixing is top notch. Chord progression is excellent but I miss an outstanding melody coming in over the top. Can't congratulate you enough on the production quality, it's really really good.
anyway awesome work mate, just doesn't quite stand up to the best song of this year :D |
