Just give it time and Sean Tyas will remix them all.

I can barely understand what the hell you are saying. is it even pertinent? I don't know why you are arguing with me.

And Mr Mystery ... lame

I can name quite a few tracks that have recently been "reconditioned". And most of them suck. Which brings me to my point. why arn't producers like Hawk Probspot, Leama and Moor etc etc etc remixing tracks like "Drifting Away" etc etc ect. Instead they're mixing current tunes and don't even do any justice to the original ever.

BTW for future reference don't bother to make contributions to my posts in the futre if they are childish, or I will start doing it to yours and see how you lie it.

lol....this is def. a funny thread...2001 vocal trance as a breath of fresh air for modern trance?!?
Grrrrr
Chicane saltwater 2006 is the perfect example of why the OP is wrong

Hawk and Leama & Moor make good remixes? :conf:

Actually, I generally don't care for modern remixes of classic tunes. For the most part, the remixes are of tracks that stand perfectly well on their own and don't need remixes, most of the rest are just plain worse than the original. The few good remixes out ther, I must not have heard yet, because I've not heard a good one yet.

No. Here's an idea. If you want originality and creativity in trance, you don't encourage people to remake perfectly good ing tracks. You encourage them to stop rehashing and recycling and start moving the forward, making new classics with new sounds and new techniques, rather than the same we heard one-too-many-times before in approximately 2002.

And Probspot are crap.

Agreed. Great classics don't need remaking unless the remaker has a quite different aproach than the original, not just "updating" the sound with fresh gear. Like you said, if you have a perfectly good classic track why try to beat it with something that sounds almost the same?

If people are looking for trance with a new aproach i might use the opportunity for some self promotion :toothless Many people claim my work released at J00F last summer is the freshest aproach on trance music in years and deserves more attention. Since it's not the basic ASOT-stuff nor the minimal house type of music, not even the regular psy stuff, not many DJs use it since the structure, soundings and feelings are quite different. Therefore i have to kinda fight for the attention you know ;)

Check out my sig and visit my site for sound samples.
Thanks!
