Really need to move the vocals forward along some of the guitar and bass lines as they seem a little washed out, it'd be a solid enough dance tune though with what you've done with it so far.
Not sure if I'd label it 'trance' though, it's definately owing more to techno. (dont get me wrong, I do like industrial remixes :D)

This is really unusual. Don't know what genre it falls under but I'm confident it isn't trance.

Quite good production though, eventhough I haven't heard the original it sounds pretty balanced to me. I have however heard of Rammstein...

Ich kann metal höre, aber ich liebe trance.

PvD and Jam & Spoon have already remixed Rammstein, actually :)
And Junkie XL remixed Fear Factory in his early days.

Have a poke around in the speedcore, terrorcore and hardcore techno scene and theres a fair bit of mixing of heavy metal.
DJ Vanux, DJ Noisekick, Delta 9, DJ Clown and those kinds of guys use it a lot, mind you, those bastards will mix and mash in just about damn near anything :haha:
