Make my own music by tapping beats on my hollow head. Oh and spoons make a nice clatter too.

Especially wooden ones. hah.:p

I'd go insane, then find something else to occupy myself but a HUGE part of me would die.

(See you tomorrow).

music is an expression of ones life imo.
I know I could not live without it. I have my moments, but for the most part I have always got some kind of music on, and no it is not always EDM :)

Insanity.

With music I go insane, without music I would go insane. It works both ways.

Just like with women;)

I don't know... why don't we ask persons who became deaf (not born deaf).

How much do they miss music?

Save for food, oxygen, and water there is pretty much nothing that any of you would die without. You people put too much stock in music. Yes, it's nice to have. Yes, you would likely miss it if it ceased to exist. Yes, you would adapt and life would carry on without suffering any significant disruption.

By die I don't mean physically.
You die inside and just become an empty shell that wanders around, simply existing rather than living.

thats incredibly melodramatic. do you have nothing else in this world that makes you happy? no family. no friends. not the love of other hobbies. enjoyment of art. of a day in the sun. of being alive and active. satisfaction of good work. taste of good food. sound of voices of people you care about.

yes, music is good and enjoyable. but come on. life IS so much more

Yes there are plenty of things in life that are enjoyable, but without music, a part of me would still die. Music just has the capability to provoke certain emotions that other things in life can't.
