Plug-ins suggestions

Hey everyone! I'm in need of a good delay and filter plug-in. Any suggestions? These can be commercial or free, but must be available in VST/DXi AND UA.

I basically need a good true stereo delay (for some reason I don't like the one that comes with Logic or Waves) with the following features:

-tempo synchronization
-spread control (or left channel/right channel pan control)
-lo-pass and hi-pass filters (hopefully with resonance and LFO)
-choice between stereo and cross delay

I really like the delay effects in z3ta and I know I can run it as an effects processor, but I'd like a separate plug-in that will have the same (or similar) features.

Now for a filter plug-in:

-obviously the sound
-different filter modes (lo-pass, hi-pass, band pass and band reject)
-resonance control of course
-12/24 and possibly additional slopes
-maybe a drive or mild distortion

I've checked out Ohm Force plug-ins, and while they are great, I was hoping to find something with a more simplified interface.

Thanks in advance everyone!

I would say to go a head and get the OhmForce plug-ins. In the classic skin they are fairly simple and take almost no time to learn. Also, they sound great. You dont need to use everything on them. Antares Filter is a wonderful filter plugin but much more complicated than ohmforce. I would say to get Fruity's LovePhilter, but it hasn't been released in their juice pack since its still in beta.

is there a reason why you don't like the waves delay plugins?? they have nearly exactly those features of which you seek...

I'm not really sure why that is, but when I feed a stereo signal into the Waves delay plug-in it doesn't process it properly. Let's say I want a basic ping-pong delay, alternating between the left and right channels, if I process a mono signal it works fine, but with a stereo signal it just doesn't sound right. Maybe it's because I'm still using an old version of Logic and there's some sort of routing problem with Waves plug-ins?

The Logic delay plug-in handles stereo signals properly, but there is no stereo spread control available.

The OhmForce sounds really good, and it is pretty simple to use once you figure out the interface, but when you buy it you only get to choose one format: either VST or UA.

Thanks again!

did you try bionic delay? maybe the "stereo" or "drift" parameter is what you are looking for.

and for filter i recommend the free bi-filter:

Thanks! I'll check those out, but they are VST only. I need them to be VST and AU.

Have you looked at the PSP plugins, specifically the PSP 84? You can get some pretty radical delay effects on that one, I use it quite a bit.

Filters are easy to find, just do a search on KvR, or use Tonic if you're producing in Cubase.

I'm really liking that PSP 84. Thanks DigiNut! I completely forgot about that plug-in!

I think it's going to be a choice between the OhmBoyz and PSP 84. I'll also check out the filters both of these companies are offering.
