Hey Guys,
I have been producing for roughly two months now and have finished a few tracks all based in Reason. Traditionally, I am rooted in Trance and House (as a dj), but have found myself creating a few instrumental tracks similar to the sounds of RJD2, Shadow, and Thievery Corporation. I realize that this forum is geared towards a more EDM sound, but I was hoping for some constructive feedback on the quality of my productions, which would provide a good stepping stone to creating more house/trance oriented tracks. Thanks and enjoy!

Have you produced just for 2 month?! Not bad! The quality could be better, yeas. Iīm not a producer myself so I canīt help you with that but I think you need to do something about the volyme, itīs not the same over the whole. Well, keep training, you have the talent! :)
Takere!

hey man, always love seeing more trip hop producers.
you've got some good stuff going on here. the percussion is very impressive, sounds really warm. I would lower the levels on that instrument with the heavy phasing on it, its causing some clipping. if I was you I might even just get rid of it, I dont like the sound of it and it could be a lot cooler with a different instrument. either that or put some variation on the notes it plays. sounds great otherwise, keep it up. |
