niyaz - dilruba, while dilruba is an indian instrument, niyaz is a group composed of 1-2 iranians (ok so they're persian not arabic) and a turkish producer i think. Their music is inspired from Suffi poetry, which is pretty arabic since its the element of mysticism in Islam.
While the singer for Niyaz has spent time in India and has indian influences, the language might be an indian dialect called Urdu which is spoken in regions where Islam is more prevalent. The original poster asked for arabic like vocals, thats pretty damn close.
By Hasneez' logic that knocks out the deepsky track which is by Jai Uttal, who is indian. But since the original poster used a tiesto track as an example, i figured the difference is neglible so long as it benefits what the poster is looking for. And despte the language, the deepsky track sounds pretty arabic in its intonnations, not necessarily language, similar to muslim prayer. |
