Thanks to all of you. Enrique, Mark, Dirk, and Carlos thanks. I appreciate your feedback very much. Without it I'd of given up on DJing long ago. I still want to give up, but it is people like you who keep me going.

With all do respect...I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'I still want to give up.' No one is forcing you to DJ, you do it because you want to, and generally because doing so makes you happy. If it doesn't...where's the worthwhileness?

Most of the people are aware of my personal situation, so I wont retype it here..but my point being that in spite of everything that has happened in my life the past 5 years, losing a parent, shady promoters, and consequently having lost ALOT of faith in the scene outside of the people that post here (and I mean post..not spam events)...I have not, nor could I ever give up on the music.

I'm not going to tell you to not give up or keep it going, because you should do what makes you happy. You got good taste in music and alot of potential though.

Not give up the music. Give up the politics and the bull. I'm selling my decks for sure. Just have to wait and see where I end up in a few years. Thanks for the kind words.

Jake, I don't know your personal situation. But I think it would be a mistake for you to give up your decks. Seems that it could be an outlet for you when you just need to 'get away' from all the bull. I know that it works for me sometimes. Just my two cents. Plus, you do have talent and it would be a sad to see you walk away from something that you have put your heart into. Not trying to sound too sentimental. I would hate to see anyone with talent let other variables interfere with your talent and passion.

In that case, I totally understand where your coming from.

Nothing wrong with giving up the politics and bull. Concentrate on producing like you do...it's good stuff and will get you far more statisfaction in the end.

No promoter can ever take that away from you.
progressiveMOJO
just downloaded, listening right now. this mix has perhaps the best opening track I have heard in ages, the Audiofly track is a thing of sheer grace and beauty, definitely gonna get a good bit of playtime from me. The Extrawelt track is awesome too, definitely one of my favorite producers at the moment. You've dug up some great tunes.

Keep up the good work, man. I hope you won't be quitting anytime soon, you've got some real talent. You've got your own style, when I listen to your mixes I often think "that's something I'd never do myself, but damn it worked nice," which I think is something that DJ's need nowadays.

And I second all the advice about keeping your decks. A few hundred dollars isn't worth giving up the incredible comfort and release they provide.
