i got today the rane serato scratch setup, and when i play the records i get this really high pitched background noise, does anyone else have it?
what is causing it?
i tried calibrating and all but still no results. |

| That is the control record's signal. I would make sure that you have all the cables setup correctly and check whether you have line or phono selected in the settings. |

Is it coming through the actual speakers itself? If so, check that your line/phono switches are set to line and that all the cables are connected correctly.
If it's just a faint high pitched noise in the background, it's the timecode itself coming through the needle. To get rid of it you just have to turn the music up a bit louder! :D |

it was coming through the needle.
