Scratching with trance/hardstyle

ok i seen a few ppl that scratch with tracne and hard trance (eddie halliwell and kutski are ones that u might know as well as a few others) and i was wondering what they use to scratch with? is it just normal tracks, similar scratch tools to what hip hop/rap DJs use, or is it something different? im wanting to learn how to do it so any answers help :)

Thanks
Timski
If you just starting then I wouldn't bother trying to scratch to the sound of trance and defiantly not effing hardstyle. Just get some DJ scratch tools and make sure there is all the basic sound effects, mainly just the "aaahhhh" that everyone uses or some constant noise sound.

The get some basic hip hop beats with no vocals and try and have a scratch... yes you will suck at first so look at some tutorials and learn to move your hand and fingers independently. As you get better you can start to incorporate your scratching with other styles of music.

Halliwell just uses the standard 'aahh' scratch and loops it.

My buddy Micheal Conway does scratching to anything and he owns halliwells scratching :p

Here's a hard set with scratching with some trance/house at the end.

All Halliwell does is a chirp scratch over and over and over.
