Growing Magic Mushrooms

| Has anyone tried to grow mushrooms from stratch? i.e by following the PF tek, innoculating rye/bird seed with spores or a liquid culture etc... |

At the top of every chain, there is a grower :)
I just read the instructions, they make the process sound rather easy |

Some magic mushrooms grow on , most don't. You wouldn't need to grow those ones though

I've always wanted to grow them, but I'm turned off by the whole sterilization stuff.
Seems tough. |

the best tek for noobs is brown rice / vermiculite mixture, it has a very low contam rate but doesnt yield quite as high as the PF tek. but its way easier for your first setup. innoculate jars of brown rice / verm, then when cakes are fully colonized, chop them up and put them into a aluminum cake pan and cover with 1/4 to 1/2 inch of a good topsoil manure mixture. put them in a 100% humidity environment with 18hours of light exposure. should start pinning in a week or so
and a tip for drying shrooms ecinomically. use your pc. put a pice of paper in the bottom of the case and leave your zooms on it overnight. the air circulation in the case will dry them out in 10 hours or less. |

| so basically its like bacteria. it needs plenty of moisture, body temperature and air to grow. |
