Ive got a gig coming up at a pretty good club where im from and im looking for a cool intro track. I want something that either has a voice over, something like the one judge jules used at global gathering a few years back. It was something like
"on day one god created bass, on day two treble etc etc. Or if anyone knows of some others please feel free to share them. Thanks

@ thread starter:

you totally forgot to mention the style you're playing! I don't wanna recommend you a house tune if you play speedcore etc ;) but anyway, last nite I started with Lolo - Take My Hand, a brilliant new production by Airwave and it was pure gold :)

what the heck are you doing playing a gig at a club if you can't even come up with your own intro track?

So because im asking for peoples opinions on intro tracks that they think are good that automatically means im not good enough to play in a club?? Your remark is a clear indication of the progress your making in the club scene.

For everyone else sorry i forgot to mention that i play minimal techno. The reason im asking is yes i have plently of good into tracks but I was looking for something less well-known that the odd person here on TA might have or know of.

Speaking of intro tunes, I can never find a good one when I'm doing a mix (no delusions of grandeur here, I mix on my laptop at home :D). I play any kind of trance except progressive.

Just some ideas...

Sunbeam - "Wake Up!"
Hennes & Cold - "The Second Trip (DJ Scot Project Remix)"
Dirt Devils - "The Drill (Evacuation Mix)"
DJ Dean - "Protect Your Ears (Rocco vs. Pulsedriver Remix)"
DJ Dean - "It's A Dream (DJ Manian vs. Yanou Extended Vocal Mix)"
Starbug - "Hypnosis"

If you're curious, I might be able to load up some samples.

Mortyman
Crystal Method - Comin' Back

This worked really well opening my trance sets a few years back!

i think if you went from minimal techno to some breakbeat or downbeat house, it would make a really lush and fresh contrast.

might just be me and my distaste for minimal, i apologize if i just called your music boring :o
