i distinguish between a live set and a DJ..
DJ = Disk jockey.. use of "discs".. hence the name..
live sets.. = LIVE.. hence the name "live"
played on synths, samplers, drumsets, etc... |

I heard it at an afterhours club in Hollywood... whoa, Ive never seen a club explode like this, i thought i was gonna pass out :D
I still get chills when i hear that song (flashbacks)!!!

I can't help but put on a big cheesy grin each time I hear Hurley & Todd - Sunstorm!!! I love it..maybe not a spine tingler, but definitely a pleaser :)
Actually, Westbam - Sonic Empire does the same, but that's not really trance I guess.

ummm...i thought live sets is equivalent to djing...
but can u actually perform live like that ? i mean..isnt it like too complicated ?? i remember the first time i listened to Chicane live in Palladium...i thought he actually played it live !
hey i have another question...do Djs need license for playing a song or r they free to play anything they want ?

Live sets can refer to both dj'ing and live performances. Although usually a live perfomance is called a live PA. One more thing, Chicane also performs live like BT, and that set you have from Palladium actually was a live performance. |

nooooooooooo live sets not the same as DJing.. they are commonly referred to as the same..
but they aren't.. and yes.. ppl do actually play the sets live.. difficult where it may be.. thats why some of them are considered so talented.. |

Not a spine tingler, but a in groover (one that u just get ripped to peices when its played and your body refuses to stop...) is humate - sound (parboiled edit) its twisted as so if ur gonna get it have an open mind ;)
