We both had a great time. Martin Roth is so kick ass. Such a nice fella and he played great..

I had a great time except for 1 thing.
What is up with that resident dj's attitude. OMG. He was in such a hurry to get Martin off. NO RESPECT AT ALL! Then for his 2nd track I see him going crazy throwing jackets around the floor flinging a towel across the booth to look for some keys to open up the back lock. So damn rude.
Ugh.
He was a major . I HATE YOU MR RESIDENT DJ @ SHELTER. If anyone knows him feel free to link him. Learn some manners and atleast let the GUEST DJ's last song finish, so the crowd can show some respect. Martin flew from Germany after all.
Anywho. I had a blast. Martin gave me a VANDIT shirt.. woo hoooo

First off want to thank Michael from Massive as well as Eco for settin up this party, you guys put alot of effort into it, and you can definitely see that by the good turnout throughout the night.
I never made it upstairs to hear Roth or Eco b/c we were goin 2 for 2 for 2 in the basement, so couldnt really go far from the booth. But i had many friends that were upstairs and said the music was on point.
Had a blast throwing down a nice dark and dirty house set with 2 of my favorite locals NY djs...always a pleasure to spin with good friends. I want to thank everyone and especially the TA's for comin out to this event. Lookin forward to Sullivan Room the 29th with Datt and Sean...:toocool: |

Eco, despite anything negative that may have ocurred, these boards are full of nothing but positive feedback about you and your party, anything sketchy was entirely unrelated to you so as far as your concerned the event was a smashing success, got to hear your set and martin's for a bit, though I was downstairs for the most part but from what i caught from your sets, both you and martin killed!
good seeing alot of you out there and thanx for the support for these types of events! it's really the cornerstone of the scene. |

yep... the main reason we're never having it on a saturday (thus, never sharing the venue with the afterhours saturdays) ever again... not sure who it was that was trying so hard to get the afterhours party, but if he was bald and british, his name is ben, he's the sound guy and resident afterhours opener, his email is on the http://www.clubshelter.com as well as all the other staff, in the contact section, for whoever would like to complain... it wont make a different for next time since most of the problems that were a result of having our party before the deep house party wont be happening again, since no saturdays, but maybe itll help future parties there not have to deal with the same negative vibe from the staff that some of you are complaining about.. i for one know of a sorta-TA-related party being thrown there next month, so if some complaint emails were to fly around, maybe theyd change their ways and, overall, just care more about their "guest" parties |

The DJ that came on in the basement for the afterhours was just as much of a prick. His name is Galen Mica. I hope you're reading this.
Otherwise it was a great job by Tyas, Luzz and Al. It was definitely worth the trip up from Philly. Luzz, I'm glad to see you got your headphones back. |
