Well I dont' know what to say. I had a good time true enough but it was probably more due to how I chose to enjoy the night rather than how the night influenced my mood. Anyway, it was super packed as expected.
The Docks is a great place but their staff are morons. Please rethink your coatcheck strategy. It is a ing debacle every ing time. Idiots.
I pretty much just stayed at the back all night. After seeing the nutcases at the front (no offense to any of you) my hopes of getting my Innercity 1999 Cd signed all but vanished. I'm just too old to get crushed by the fanatics who go up to the front like that all night...crazy!
I didn't mind what he was playing actually since the epic trance is lacking these days and my tastes have changed somewhat. But I cannot express my severe disappointment when he dropped that p diddy crapfest track. I was at the back bar with my buddy standing beside this guy and his girlfriend. We all said "what the is this " at the same time and I could definitely hear boos. COme on Tiesto, that kind of doesn't belong in a ing dance club.
I thought this was an "extended 6 hour set"? By my count, he played no more than 4.5 hours and left rather abruptly actually. The Dj who took over sucked so we bailed. This is most likely my last time ever seeing Tiesto. It was ok, but nothing will eclipse his set from two years ago at the Docks. That was phenomenal.
By the way, anybody see the absolutely ed up individual outside and hanging around the back who (I think on G) kept banging into the walls and asking for more drugs from just about everyone? He had cuts all over his face, could not utter a coherent sentence and was sweating profusely. I pointed this out to the bouncer for his own safety yet then I see him, even more ed up, several hours later. GOod job bouncer, nice to see you care about your patrons. |

I brought that cd to I was up in the front and no go....with him signing it....
Yea that guy was ED UP soooo cracked....yo there was this nex sketchbag that kept doin the Matrix/Limbo thing up in the front and he fell over while doin it hahahaha I never seen a wide gap of space open up so fast in a crowd that rammed....
yea security didnt give a ....
thy barley even searched me.....I could have brought in a brick of coke and got away wit it.... |
