No secret mate! I meantioned it earlier in the thread :p It's a sculpture done by Judy Chicago in 1965 called "Minimal Rainbow". Click here for more info.

Thanks a lot dudes! I am really stoked with how this turned out, possibly one step closer to finding my sound (really think I got close on here to a "feel") and playing some truly great tunes-
I edited almost all the tracks so this thing fit together like butter- my aim was to be as smooth and silky as possibly- just let it mold into the next, I chopped all the tunes up - I ing love ableton- the subtlties of it are amazing to me and really help me create a particular vibe.
That being said, would also love feedback on the technical side- always good to hear other sides of whats going on - a fresh perspective.

well in technical terms, it was good, i mean you mixed it on ableton...beatmatching isnt really an issue?
the phrasing was usually good, although at some parts i thought the energy kinda dipped a little.
the loss of energy was from a combination of funny phrasing + tracks i didnt like...dont ask me to point out these specific points right now because im just going off of what i remember from listening to the mix about 2 or 3 times now...
the intro track, i dont reall like it...as i stated in my earlier post, things get a lot better after the first track.
well, im gonna listen to it one more time now and see if i can gather any more critique... |

Awesome thanks a lot- even personal things are good to know, i always like to get an idea of what people liked and didnt like and why.
Also, if you get the time would love to know which mixed you thought "lacked".
