I'm getting a iBook G4 1.33ghz 512mb RAM wednesday.
Question is...Should I move to Logic from FL on Winblows? |

Dunno if that configuration will run logic 7..
but if it can I would definately go for it, it's like choosing between a golf and a ferrari |

Are you having trouble with what you're using now? Then I'd say no.
Have you tried Logic and do you like it better? Then yes. |

# Macintosh computer with PowerPC G4, PowerPC G5 or Intel Core Duo; Intel Core Duo, PowerPC G5, or dual PowerPC G4 processor recommended
# Logic Node applications require PowerPC G5 or Intel Core Duo and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity
# 512MB of RAM

dno exactly bout the mac range but an ibook aint no powerpc. And, as you can see yourself, the G4 and 512 ram are the minimum system specs. I wouldn't recommend anyone 512 ram for music production, unless you use it only for midi.
Sure cubase 4 will run on a pentium III, but will it run smooth?
You can try it, don't say I didn't warn you. |
