What a night!
Thanks again to KSky, Spundae, and all of you who came out to the show. I definitely loved playing at Spundae - great club, full and dancing by 10pm...nice! Not to mention the fact that security was placing buckets to catch the rain falling directly onto the DJ booth. ;)
Nice meeting some of you and glad you guys liked the set! Hope to play out in LA again soon.

I bought one of these in Germany, it's just a little longer than the short side of the Canon Elph cameras, super light too. Can't seem to find anyplace selling them in the US though...

I like to take 'sneaky' pics although most people hate it :p The SvD track was probably the one you're talking about because I don't remember hearing any other hard songs during A&B's set (*prays for SvD to return to Spundae....* :thepirate). BTW, Amazon has a few different lens cleaning pens but I don't know if any of them are as small as the one you got in Germany. |

Also thanks to all the other TA's that were there and contributed to such a great night (despite the pouring rain!)
Above & Beyond always know how to light up a room. Unfortuntely I couldn't stay til the end of their set, but what I heard was nothing short of great.
(except the SvD Arctic Monkey Track... I may be one of the only DJs I know NOT playing that tune, but I just can't seem to figure out why everyone likes it so much.:wtf:
I hate that track with a passion. Def not upset that I missed that one :)) |

Don't get me wrong, I love SvD's productions and remixes usually, but that tune is not my style- and the vocal just doesn't fit imo. I do enjoy some hard trance and techy stuff, but I'll have to admit I'm not the biggest fan, so that definitely may have something to do with it.:tongue3 |

When I heard that song the first time and the vocal started I was :conf: After hearing Sander's part I fell in love it tho. I think it's the contrast of the two parts that makes it so brilliant. I guess you either love it or hate it :D

I think you're in the wrong thread babe! ;) Solarstone was on November 25th :wtf: (but YES, we DID record the sets and they will be available as soon as Rich cleans it up and sends it back to me)
As far as the night THIS thread is about : Mike Khoury and I both recorded our sets and they will be avail shortly, but Above & Beyond's was not recorded, they rarely let that happen. (we have about the first 15 min of their set)
