We seem to be in the same boat :( What's ur major ? I've a Master's degree in Mechatronics/Controls Engineering.
And I dream of working in the Aerospace Industry with some kickass high end space technology.
But I am in US, and not a US citizen. All Aerospace companies are heavily into the Defense sector.
So not many jobs in my specific field, at entry level which do not require citizenship/secret clearance.
Damn, getting pwned at the moment. :( But I wana live my dream, and I'm gona get what I want. :tongue3 |

i'm a writer i guess. i write for my country's only local electronic music scene website. get a monthly salary. not much, but it's there. i get to interview DJs, write reviews and get in free to some events. it's nice. i also brainstorm with new ideas for the site.
whenever i'm available i am also a greasemonkey extraordinaire.
i'm the spare mechanic at my dad's autoshop. currently, i just do whatever i'm told. this includes:
- random mechanic work (build this, take that apart)
- fuel injector cleaning and testing
- specific assignments (i recently finished setting up the electronics side for a turbo kit on a Dodge Ram 2500)
i don't really get paid formally. |
